- Again in November of final yr, Paramount introduced that it was producing a feature-film adaptation of the favored Canadian tv anthology from the ’90s.
- The script is being penned by the author, Gary Dauberman, of the latest IT revamp. Dauberman is producing the film with Matt Kaplan.
- This week at CinemaCon, Paramount unveiled the official emblem for the film with the date “October 11, 2019” written beneath. The emblem could also be altered later.
- What Dauberman needed to say in regards to the emblem and film: “The present is in regards to the shared expertise of telling tales — particularly scary ones. We’re going to have fun that with this film and honor the darker, scarier tone of the present, which was actually groundbreaking for Nickelodeon on the time. I hope the Midnight Society approves.”
