On Tuesday, Riverdale star Charles Melton issued an apology after followers dug up previous tweets the place the actor seems to mock different folks’s appearances.
In line with alleged screenshots posted on Twitter, in 2012, the now-27-year-old allegedly shared posts that many contemplate to be fat-shaming.

In a press release to US Weekly, the thespian — who changed Ross Butler as Reggie Mantle in season 2 of the CW present — says he’s sorry for his “immature, offensive and inappropriate” phrases:
“I am actually sorry for making thoughtless feedback a number of years in the past and apologize to anybody I harm… What I posted and stated was immature, offensive and inappropriate. I’m ashamed of how I acted and there’s no excuse for that habits. I am striving to do higher and can use this expertise to develop, serving to others to grasp how most of these statements are fully unacceptable.”
