Federal Judge Tells Immigrants If They Don't Support Donald Trump, 'You Need To Go To Another Country'

Just another day in Donald Trump‘s America!

At an American citizenship ceremony in San Antonio, Texas, a judge presiding over welcoming new citizens to the country is now under fire after making some questionable pro-Trump comments that went just a little too far for the new arrivals.

On Thursday night, Judge John Primomo (pictured, above) told new citizens at the ceremony some disturbing things about supporting Trump or leaving the country altogether – including this aggressive, sick quote (below):

“I can assure you that whether you voted for him or you did not vote for him, if you are a citizen of the United States, he is your president. He will be your president and if you do not like that, you need to go to another country.”

Uh… excuse us?! This is how you are ringing in citizenship for new Americans??

That is flatly un-American, Judge Primomo – not to mention completely inappropriate to be told to a group of people who are there to be proud about becoming Americans!!!

Smart money tells us Judge Primomo was not saying the same thing when Barack Obama won in 2008 or 2012, but, we digress…

It sounds like Primomo just wanted a soap box to rant and rave about his random, silly thoughts, though – according to local media reports, the judge also railed against NFL players that take a knee during the national anthem, saying:

“I detest that, because you can protest things that happen in this country; you have every right to, but you do not do that by offending national symbols like the national anthem and the flag of the United States.”

Um, Judge, you should have just left it at one simple sentence: “you have every right to.”

Bam. That’s it.

Telling people that they ca not (peacefully!) protest our President, or aggressively informing them they are not supposed to protest the flag or anthem (which people have the right to do!!) is completely un-American and disturbing.

Maybe it is Primomo himself who ought to review the citizenship materials and ideals.

Simply being born here, as he was, does not appear to have instilled in him any commitment to American values and ideals, and it might be worth a review to see whether he can truly appreciate the freedoms given in this great country.

Just a thought!
